Les professeurs d'Histoire et leurs étudiants ont besoin d'un outil qui leur donne l'opportunité d'étendre leurs connaissances d'événements historiques spécifiques relatifs au XX ème siècle et présentés sous différentes perspectives nationales. Cela leur permettra d'acquérir le savoir et les informations nécessaires concernant ces événements historiques. Cette compréhension sera le résultat d'une analyse critique de différents points de vue. |

L'objectif principal du projet est de donner aux professeurs d'Histoire l'occasion d'analyser des événements historiques clés du XX ème siècle selon différentes perspectives nationales au travers d'une coopération active entre les professeurs d'Histoire de différents pays européens. |

• Développement de la structure technique du portail Internet de MHM.
• Identification de 5 écoles participantes dans chaque pays partenaire.
• Collecte et évaluation, par chaque école impliquée, de matériel didactique e-learning relatif à l'événement historique identifié. Ce matériel sera fourni sous un format commun.
• Collecte de sources média, sous format électronique, pour chaque événement identifié (journaux, articles, news radio, news télé, interviews des survivants).
• Traduction vers l'anglais des sources collectées.
• Organisation d'ateliers nationaux pour les professeurs, afin d'examiner ensemble les sources collectées, et de préparer, pour chaque événement, le « Formulaire de Perspective Nationale ».
• Pour chaque événement identifié, production d'un document contenant une analyse détaillée des sources collectées ainsi que du « Formulaire de Perspective Nationale » sous le format commun fourni par PIXEL. Ce document sera le produit du travail en collaboration de toutes les écoles nationales (et pas seulement d'une école) qui travailleront sous la supervision d'un expert identifié par chaque partenaire.
• Préparation du matériel collecté en vue de son chargement sur Internet suivant le standard spécifié par le partenaire technique. |

ANNEE 2 |
|
|
• Création d'un Forum et d'un espace de rencontre virtuel sur le portail MHM. Le Forum sera subdivisé en 10 sections, un pour chaque événement identifié.
• Accès au portail MHM pour toutes les écoles impliquées et travail avec le matériel disponible dans les écoles.
• Organisation de 10 rencontres virtuelles entre les professeurs impliqués dans les 6 pays partenaires (coordonnées par les partenaires) pour débattre de chacun des 10 événements identifiés, et commenter la perspective transnationale.
• Production d'un document de "Perspective Transnationale" analysant chacun des 10 événements identifiés, en coopération avec les experts historiques identifiés par chaque partenaire et en tenant compte des contributions des professeurs ayant participé tant au Forum qu'aux rencontres virtuelles.
• Chargement du document de « Perspective Transnationale » sur le portail Internet MHM.

Résultats attendus |

Le principal résultat tangible du projet sera le Portail Internet « Multimedia History Memorial ».
Le Portail contiendra une collection de sources Média directement liée aux 10 événements historiques du XX ème siècle sélectionnés. Ceux-ci seront analysés selon les six différents points de vue nationaux et aussi selon une approche globale transnationale.
Le Portail contiendra aussi une collection de matériel e-learning didactique historique ciblée sur les événements historiques identifiés. |

There is a need to provide teachers and therefore also students of history with a tool which gives them the opportunity to expand their knowledge of specific historic events related to the 20th Century, presenting them from several different national perspectives. This will allow them to acquire the information and knowledge of specific events through a thorough understanding of them as a result of a critical analysis of different points of view. |

The overall aim of the project is to give history teachers the opportunity to analyse key historical events of the 20th Century according to different national perspectives, through an active cooperation between history teachers of different European countries. |

• Development of the technical structure of the MHM Internet Portal
• Identification of 5 participating schools in each partner country.
• Collection, review and evaluation by each school involved, of e-elarning based history teaching material focusing on the identified events, using the common format provided.
• Collection, in electronic format, of the media sources for each identified event (i.e. newspaper articles; radio news; television news; interviews to the survivals).
• Translation into English of the collected sources.
• Organisation of national teachers workshops to jointly examine the sources collected and to prepare for each event the “National Perspective Form”.
• Production, for each identified event, of a document containing a detailed analysis of the sources collected, filling in the “National Perspective Form” using the common format provided by Pixel. The document will be the result of the joint work of all the national schools (not only one) who will work under the supervision of the experts identified by each partner.
• Preparation of the collected material for its Internet uploading following the standards specified by the technical partner.

ANNEE 2 |

• Creation of a Forum and a Virtual meeting space on the MHM portal. The forum will be organized on 10 spaces, one for each identified event.
• Access to the MHM by all the schools involved and work with the material available at school.
• Organisation of 10 virtual meetings between all the teachers involved in the 6 partners countries (coordinated by the partners) to discuss of each of the 10 identified events and comment on the transnational perspective.
• Production, in cooperation between the history experts identified by each partner and taking into account the contributions expressed by the teachers both participating in the Forum and Virtual Meetings, of a “Transnational Perspective” document of analysis of each of the 10 identified events.
• Uploading of the “Transnational Perspective” document on the MHM Internet Portal.

Expected Results |

The project's main tangible output will be the Internet Portal “Multimedia History Memorial”.
The Portal will contain a collection of Media and Direct sources related to 10 selected history events of the 20th Century, analyzed according to six different national points of views and also from an overall transnational approach.
The Portal will also contain a collection of e-learning based history teaching material focusing on the identified events.
